The much awaited Canvas HD, was launched by Mircomax, the largest Indian Mobile Manufacturer, and as expected it broke all the records, with almost 9000 handsets sold in just 24 hours.
The Canvas HD was launched to buy online ( see Buy Micromax Canvas HD Online ), and today Micromax announced that its Canvas HD has broken all records, with over 9000 handsets being sold in just 1 day.
It was reported that many users stayed awake until 12:00 AM on the Valentine Day, to buy Canvas HD, and the Canvas HD was sold out in just 15 minutes.
Then the second lot was made available, but in no time it was also sold out, and within 45 minutes 1200 handsets were already sold.
Even now, over 25 handsets are being sold in under 1 minute, and Micromax is sure that the sales record of Micromax Canvas 2, will be broken by its successor Canvas HD.
