Gionee Elife E5 with 1.5GHz MediaTek Turbo Processor Announced in India

Gionee has now officially launched the latest device in the Elife series, the Gionee Elife E5. The Gionee Elife E5 features 4.8 inch HD Super AMOLED touch screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 2, and 1.5GHz MediaTek Turbo processor. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, and has 8MP rear camera. On the specifications front the Gionee Elife E5 does looks a good device. It has been priced in India at Rs. 19999.

The Gionee Elife E5 has some special features like Gesture recognition, smile detection, and other special camera enhancements. The Gionee Elife E5 claims to be the thinnest HD touch screen device is 6.85mm thin.  The Elife E5 comes with Digital Theatre System ( DTS) sound and 3D surround sound.

    is there any typeof gorilla glass in gionee elife e5? i'm confused about it. gionee official site doesn't say about it. but it is so much unexpected to have no gorilla glass in a smartphone with that price range. please clarify
